Year 4 visit to Nabarro law firm as representatives of Place2Be

Friday 16 December 2016

As part of their community work, Nabarro provides funding to Place2Be, an organisation that we partner with at Portway to provide our children with support to deal with any emotional or behavioural difficulties they may be experiencing.  More about how Place2Be works with schools is available here.

Our Year 4 children delighted the Nabarro staff with their renditions of 'Jingle Bell Rock' and 'What Christmas Means to Me', before joining members of the Nabarro choir to sing Silent Night and Away in a Manger around the office, in order to raise further funds for Place2Be.

We were very proud of the impeccable behaviour of our children, who were fabulous ambassadors for both our school and for Place2Be, and who very much enjoyed their day out.  Pictures of our singing with the choir (and enjoying the lunch we were given!) are available here.
