Children's Mental Health Week - 20th - 24th February

As a school, we recognise that like adults, many children go through tough times.  For  friends and family alike, it can often be difficult to know what to do and how to help.

Place2Be has established that at such times, it is often the smallest acts of kindness that can make the difference to the person who is struggling.

The aim of Mental Health Week (which we are marking this week, after the half term break, rather than the week prior to the break) is to encourage everyone, children and adults alike, to spread a little kindness as they go about their daily lives.  At school, we will be running a series of events and activities to show our children what a difference kindness makes, and how they can help others.
