We were pleased to have had a less disruptive week at school this week!
On Thursday, we held a very successful, specially timetabled school celebration day, put together by our Reading Lead, Laura Brothwell, to mark World Book Day 2018. Children and staff alike make a big effort with their costumes - thank you to all parents who supported their children. Pictures are in the newsletter.
Our children who took part in the badminton tourament this week are also featured in this week's newsletter, and did very well; please see the newsletter for some of their comments.
We have a treat in store for parents next week, as the choir plus years 1, 2 and 3 will provide a short concert between 09:00 - 09:45, with year 4 and 5 taking to the stage with the choir from 09:45 to 10:15. All parents are very welcome, and no booking is required. Details are also provided in the school calendar. We look forward to seeing as many parents as possible at school!
Once again, thank you to parents for supporting our ongoing work to continue to improve our attendance at school. Good attendance is essential in order for teaching and learning to take place, and, with your support, we look forward to reporting every better figures.
